Today, I’m taking you with me on a breathtaking motorbike journey in Ha Giang, Vietnam – the legendary Ha Giang Loop.”

The loop is around 350 km, with breathtaking mountain passes, ethnic minority villages, and wild open skies. It was one of the most thrilling, meditative rides I’ve ever taken.

🌿 Hà Giang Loop – Day 1
Almost didn’t make it because of a fever the night before… But then I thought of my sweet driver Nguy missing a day of work because of me — I just couldn’t let that happen! 😅💪🏼
Grateful that I pushed through, because I met the lovely Sterre from the Netherlands — her vibrant energy made me feel instantly better. 💛
The rest of the group was equally kind and warm-hearted. Even the weather, though rainy at first, cleared up just for us.
前一天還在發燒，差點就放棄了…
但一想到我可愛的司機Nguy會因此少一天工作，我就下不了那個決定！😅💪🏼
還好撐過來了，遇見了來自荷蘭的Sterre，她的能量超好，讓我一下就好起來了！💛
我們這團的其他人也都超棒、超貼心，就連原本濕答答的天氣也為我們放晴了。
Ha Giang Loop — Day 2 🚵♀️🌧️➡️☀️
Woke up to a grey and rainy morning, but as soon as we reached the river, BAM — sunshine on full blast! ☀️ We switched plans and hopped on a bamboo raft cruise instead.⠀
The river was flowing way too fast, so no swimming today… unless you count accidental swimming. 😅
On the way back, things got dramatic — four of our group members fell into the water! The boat lady literally ran away in panic, and I was just standing there like a stunned extra in an action movie. 🎬
⠀Everyone’s safe (thank God 🙏), and now we’ve got a wild story to tell — plus a new appreciation for life and dry clothes. 😂🧘♀️🌊

河江環線第二天🚵♀️🌧️➡️☀️
早上起床是陰雨綿綿，但一到河邊，陽光就像開掛了一樣灑下來☀️！我們臨時改搭竹筏遊河～
水流實在太急了，原本想下水游泳的計畫就此作罷……結果沒想到，還是有人落水了😅
回程途中情節大反轉——我們團裡竟然有四個人掉進河裡！船夫姐姐還驚恐逃跑，我整個人站在原地目睹全程，像電影裡的背景板一樣傻眼。🎬⠀
幸好大家平安無事，現在反而多了一個超級精彩的旅遊故事，還更懂得珍惜生命與乾衣服的美好😂🧘♀️🌊
旅遊守則第57條：凡事都有可能發生，記得帶條毛巾。
Ha Giang Loop — Day 3 🌸🚴♀️🎉
Our German girls had to say goodbye early, so our crew shrank to a cozy group of 6: me, Sterrel from the Netherlands, Will from England, Joel from the US, and Lonie from Scotland. United Nations on motorbikes 🇺🇳😂⠀
The road was as stunning as ever — misty mountains, endless curves, and that peaceful open sky. On the way, I bought a flower bouquet and wreath from a local lady. Gave her 20K VND (less than $1), and her joyful smile will stay in my heart forever 🌼
We reached a tiny remote village, just in time for a 14-year-old boy’s birthday celebration! The whole village came out to dance — and yes, we danced too, through bamboo tunnels, under the stars.
One of those magical nights where you don’t need Wi-Fi… just music, movement, and human connection. 💃🌿💫
兩位德國女生提前離隊，於是我們變成一個更緊密的小團體：我、荷蘭的Sterrel、英國的Will、美國的Joel，還有蘇格蘭的Lonie，像一支騎摩托車的聯合國小分隊🇺🇳😂
風景依然壯麗——雲霧繚繞的山、蜿蜒的公路和廣闊的天空。途中我從當地阿姨那裡買了花束和花環，給了她2萬越南盾（不到台幣30元），她笑得好開心，那個笑容我永遠不會忘記🌼
傍晚我們抵達一個偏遠小村莊，剛好趕上一位14歲男孩的生日慶典！整個村子都出來跳舞，我們也被邀請一起加入，穿梭在竹子搭成的通道中，伴著音樂在星空下搖擺。
那是一個無需Wi-Fi的夜晚，只需要音樂、舞蹈，和人與人之間真摯的連結💃🌿💫
Ha Giang Loop — Day 4 ☕️🪨💦
Woke up exhausted and powered through the day with two coffees (no regrets). First stop: a mountain cave — and OMG, it was like landing on another planet.
We crawled, slid, and climbed through the wildest stalactite formations I’ve ever seen. It was creepy, slimy, and magical. Loved every second of it. 🦇✨
On the way back, we stumbled upon a massive waterfall… literally in the middle of the road! Nature really knows how to flex. Of course, we all took photos like proper tourists. 📸🌊
Then came the hard part: saying goodbye to the crew. It was a little bittersweet, but my heart’s full and the road still calls.
Next stop: Ninh Binh. Adventure continues… 🚍💚
河江環線第四天☕️🪨💦
今天真的累翻了，靠兩杯咖啡撐著前行（值得！）第一站去了山洞探險，結果完全值回票價——像走進另一個星球！
鐘乳石洞太驚人了，我竟然還要彎腰滑過鐘乳石樓梯，再爬回去，全身滑黏黏的但超有成就感🦇✨又毛又酷，我愛慘了。
回程路上還經過一個大瀑布，直接橫在馬路中間！超壯觀，我們當然立刻拍照打卡📸🌊
終於來到說再見的時刻，有點不捨，但心裡滿滿的感激，旅程還沒結束，我繼續出發。

On the second day, I remember climbing one steep hill, feeling the fog wrap around me like a soft blanket.
It was quiet, just the sound of my breath and the engine.
And suddenly I realized — I wasn’t afraid anymore.
Not of being alone, not of the unknown.
I felt free.
